Little Rachel weighed in at 6 lbs 4 oz. at 19 inches long at Mercy Hospital, Nampa Idaho. She is really like a baby doll and looks like a smart little girl already. Miracle of miracles is a new baby. Now I have 5 grand daughters, and 5 grand sons. How blessed am I? Thanks to God for these precious little children.
The nurse, Carrie Peterson delivered the baby. It is quite a story of delivery. Being induced, it took all day for the baby to come. Jen and Jared were walking the halls of the hospital for all morning (four miles of walking). Soon the contractions got better, but the doctor went out for an errand and Rachel decided to make her appearance. Good work Carrie. Carrie said she has delivered over 200 babies. Doesn't Jen look great?
Wow, does Jen look great!!!! I am amazed how wonderful she looks and here is little baby Rachel on her first day of life. She is a beauty. Welcome to our family.
Ruth (Grandma Pratt) with Aliza, Jen and Rachel with Madeline and Jared. I had a lot of fun babysitting little Aliza and Madeline. Madeline love Veggie Tales, Madeline, and Stawberry Shortcake. I have read so many books. She is a real book lover!!! She is a great little student already. Aliza wants to do everything that big sister does and cries when she can't quite do it. It was a great week.
Welcome home little Rachel. What a darling little sister. Madeline says: "Baby sister Rachel". She is such a pretty baby. How we love this little doll.

June 9 to June 16th Jared and Jen saw these ancient ruins dating back to 500 AD. Perhaps these are the ruins of Book of Mormon Nephites and Lamanite dwellings.
Aliza with her white hat, she took her first steps today, some yesterday July 29, 2007, It was so cute to see her stand up wave her hands, then tumble over, giggle, and pick herself up again.
I put a few drops of water and soap and you should have seen all the bubbles and splashing. Our bathing beauties love the cool water on these hot summer days.
