St Ms. Utah pageant

I was in the Sr. Ms. Utah pageant at the Barn at Thanksgiving Point, Lehi Utah and received a placque. Jen Kim left, Liz, me (Ruth) Joe and Dad. It was fun and I enjoyed the event. July 2007

We had a wonderful meeting and Calvin was blessed by his father as well as being baptized by him.

The public was invited to enjoy with the dance fest. The mucis was very fun and put one in a very festive happy mood. The BYU Folk dancers did some very nice western dances. They wore long pioneer dresses and really had a good time.

After the dances we had some great home made bread with Calvin and Ann and visited my brother Charles. It was special to see him lookin well and, bless his heart, looking himself (very heart wrenching to me at times.)

Here we are at the new Rexbury temple in its last months of completion. The landscaping was being done when we went there. The dedication will be coming up soon, perhaps in Feb. ???

I am with Cindy McOmber Hyer's children: Sam and Carolyn with mom Cindy and Calvih and Ann. Note the folk dancers in the back ground. We watched some adorabel Czech dancers. Calvin and Ann hosted a couple of them.

The air was just a little misty with a little faint spray of water and it made the mountains so very lovely. This is a neat picture don't you think?

I wish I could stay a week here and not just drive through in a hurry.
We loved this trip.

Teton and Dad, July 2007
We went to a Bar J Ranch and had a real cowboy dinner. We met people from all over US. This lake is lovely.

July 2007 Dad and I went to the 4-H Alpine family camp and we had a wonderful time together. We had a little log cabin and we went to the Teton Nat'l forest and it was beautiful. We wnt hiking by Jenny's Lake and put our feet in the water. July is a very nice time to visit this beautiful area. We later went over the hill to Uncle Calvin and Aunt Ann in Ribgy Idaho and saw a Czech dance group at the BYU Idaho Fest. It was great.
